Job Description
Delivery Helper
Accountabilities
- Prepare material for distribution and other entities
- Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks daily weekly and monthly.
- Following the best practices for safety both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
- Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
- Meeting delivery deadline
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Open bales crates and other containers.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders printing requests recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Education: None
- Experience: None Required
- License or Certification: Valid Drivers License in the state of Texas Required
- Must be 21 Years of age
- Be able to lift 3075 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Long periods of standing/sitting at a time
- Works with urgency and purpose to deliver quality products.
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment; is comfortable with ambiguity and change.
- Seeks and responds well to feedback which is shared often and freely across all levels of the organization.
- Works through silos and forges strong crossdepartmental relationships in order to achieve outcomes.
- Believe in holding themselves to a high level of conduct and professionalism.
