Description:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the mechanical and electrical equipment at the Detroit Michigan chemical manufacturing facility. The position is a part of a team that produces high quality chemicals and prides itself in its excellent safety record. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing the activities in the maintenance department in a safe and costeffective manner. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be heavily involved in managing shutdowns and supporting capital projects.
EHSS RESPONSIBILITIES
OSHA Process Safety Management program 29 CFR 1910.119
EPA Risk Management Program 40 CFR Part 68
DHS Appropriations Act of 2007 CFATS program
All other applicable regulatory requirements as they apply
Incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis to prevent recurrence
Complete and conduct applicable training as needed
Audit participation and completion of corrective actions

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
Excellent safety standards
Strong knowledge and experience with CMMS PM Optimization
Strong background with Maintenance Management Best Practices
Chemical manufacturing facility experience
Leadership skills and experience
Able to work effectively with competing priorities
Strong decisionmaking skills
Strong diplomacy and interpersonal skills
Selfstarter able to work alone and in groups
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
