Java C Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java C Developer with expertise in both C and Java to play a key role in rewriting a software component from C to Java. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle writing efficient testable code and actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The project domain is the bank sector.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the rewriting of a software component from C to Java.
• Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle including design implementation testing and deployment.
• Write clean efficient and maintainable code.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing enhancements.

MustHave Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in software development (Full Stack Developer).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Handson experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of Java.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Proficiency in XML reading/writing (e.g. XHTML XSLT).
• Fluent in both verbal and written English.

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of Progress (ABL OpenEdge).
• Experience with C programming.
• Familiarity with Linux systems.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems especially GIT.
