Job Description

Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services required by the company. This includes identifying suppliers negotiating contracts and ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills attention to detail and a proven track record in procurement or supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure costeffective purchasing of all materials and services.
  • Identify evaluate and select suppliers based on quality price reliability and service.
  • Negotiate contracts terms and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends emerging suppliers and potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies procedures and ethical standards in procurement activities.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports including cost analysis supplier performance and purchasing trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
  • Resolve any issues related to procurement such as delivery delays quality discrepancies or invoice disputes.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Proven at least 2 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role within the construction is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles practices and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data prepare reports and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics.
