Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedicalSurgical team in Lawton OK. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing with a commitment to providing highquality patient care. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to float to other departments as needed to support patient care across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the MedicalSurgical unit following established protocols and guidelines.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans to meet the individualized needs of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices.
- Monitor patient vital signs symptoms and overall condition making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions treatments and postdischarge care plans.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records documenting all aspects of care in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a willingness to float to other departments as needed providing support where it is most needed within the facility.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest nursing practices and standards of care.
MustHaves:
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma.
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Flexibility: Willingness to float to other departments as needed to support patient care across the facility.
