Job Description

Project/client: bank

Project duration: 34 months (possible extension)

Start date: 01.10.2024

Location: remote

Limitations: only candidates based in Baltic countries and Poland (EU passport holders preferred)

Role: We are seeking a Java C Developer with expertise in both C and Java to contribute to the rewriting of a software component from C to Java. The role involves contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle writing efficient and testable code and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

MustHave Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in software development (Full stack Developer)
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Teamplayer who can also work independently
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of Java
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • XML reading/writing (e.g. XHTML XSLT)
  • Fluent in verbal and written English

    Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Progress (ABL OpenEdge)
  • Knowledge of C
  • Experience with Linux systems
  • Relational Database experience
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • GIT experience
