Embedded Software Engineer

Everest is seeking a talented individual with outstanding embedded software and hardware skills. You will work with our R&D team in bringing our sensor technology to market and be the interface between strategic management of the company and technical implementation and production.

Tasks

• Design code and test embedded software for operating devices in R&D and production environments
• Optimize performance of hardware for lowpower operation
• Conduct rigorous quality tests
• Continuous improvement of communications and data software
• Create documentation for endusers
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of scientists software developers and management to ensure seamless integration of the hardware into our product platform

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in software and/or embedded software
• Over 5 years of experience in embedded software design and hardware
• Proficient in embedded software programming in Python C Git
• Proficiency with Nordic NRF microcontrollers FreeRTOS data acquisition systems
• Proficiency with various communications protocols including BLE LoRa SPI & I2C
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document and present technical information in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
