We are working with our client based in Qatar to source a OLCM Engineer - Instrumentation and Control. This is a 3 years residential contract to be based in Qatar. Job Purpose: To carry out technical and engineering supports in Maintenance department for all Expansion projects to review and identify two years and lifecycle spares required for each equipment in project scope, recommend quantities, optimize spares within / across projects, carry out obsolescence and life cycle management activities to enhance reliability with cost efficiency. Review Recommended Spare Parts lists (RSPL) and recommend spare parts for all new projects. Review all Master Data Governance (MDG) request (Material creation, change, deletion and obsolete) through SAP to ensure optimum inventory and quality Review existing material inventory stock levels to ensure optimum quantity in warehouse and minimise financial exposure. Develop and review policies and procedures relevant to Obsolescence and life cycle management. Qualification and Experience 6 years experience in an Oil and gas environment.
