Supervisor Taxation and AR

Location: Gurgaon

Department: Finance & Taxation

Reporting To: Tax Manager / Finance Controller

JobSummary:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 45 years of experience to join our team as

a Supervisor Taxation and AR. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in direct and

indirect taxes with the ability to manage tax compliance audits and litigation effectively. This

role requires a proactive approach in handling taxrelated matters maximizing tax benefits and

ensuring adherence to the latest regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct and Indirect Tax Compliance: o Prepare and file GST returns for all locations.

o Maximize the availing of GST Input Tax Credit and minimize leakage due to

mismatches.

o Stay updated on the latest tax amendments and provide strategic

recommendations.

2. GST and VAT Litigation: o Support in handling past or present SCNs and litigations under VAT/GST in

coordination with consultants.

o Effectively manage all assessments to achieve favorable outcomes in

collaboration with Big4 consultants.

3. Withholding Tax and Advance Tax: o Calculate and process monthly withholding taxes and ensure timely filing of

withholding tax returns.

o Prepare and manage quarterly advance tax payments.

4. External Consultant Management: o Coordinate and manage external consultants to ensure compliance and

effective handling of tax matters.

5. International Taxation: o Analyze tax treaties between different countries and manage foreign

remittances accordingly.

o Assist in finalizing the Transfer Pricing Study and managing the Transfer

Pricing Audit in coordination with consultants.

6. Audit Management: o Oversee Tax Audits and GST Audits ensuring proper coordination with

consultants.

o Manage the filing of Income Tax Returns in collaboration with consultants.

o Assist in the preparation and filing of various Transfer Pricing forms and

ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

8. Accounts Receivable and Banking: o Handle accounts receivable and manage banking operations efficiently.

9. Systems and Processes: o Utilize SAP for effective tax management and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 45 years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes.

Proficiency in GST compliance tax audits and litigation management.

Experience with SAP and other financial software.

Ability to manage external consultants and work collaboratively with Big4 firms.

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements:

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Uptodate knowledge of the latest tax regulations and amendments.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
