Job Description
Do you want to work in the dynamic environment of the online travel business and get started directly under the leadership of experienced managers In this position you have the chance to learn strategic thinking futureoriented leadership and sustainable action while working closely with the Director of IT and other IT decisionmakers. Get involved in a variety of projects relating to IT infrastructure and applications in the travel sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead crucial IT projects focusing on our clients travel sector.
- Independently optimize IT processes across company platforms.
- Enhance travelspecific IT systems like booking platforms.
- Analyze and prepare travelrelated information for IT projects.
- Support companywide initiatives including hackathons and meetups in the travel sector.
- Participate in exchange programs at other travel locations in Germany.
Requirements
- Excellent degree in Computer Science Business Informatics Mathematics Physics or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g. Python Golang Java PHP C#).
- Solid Linux/DevOps knowledge.
- Eager to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- High selfmotivation and discipline.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with specialist departments.
- Fluent in German and English.
