Job Description
Temporary Project for Cost Accountant
Reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and work closely with CEO
Summary:
We seek a detailoriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with the CEO and CFO to review current costing procedures and make recommendations.
- Conduct cost analysis for construction projects to identify areas of improvement
- Monitor and report on project budget variances
- Collaborate with project managers to develop cost estimates and forecasts
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
- Assist in the development of cost control procedures and policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience in cost accounting preferably in the Construction industry
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
