Techsol Engineers is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector a strong network of industry contacts and a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify new business opportunities build strong client relationships and develop strategies to increase market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients market trends and competitor activities.
- Analyze the manufacturing sector to uncover opportunities for growth and expansion.
Business Development & Strategy:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities including new markets growth areas trends customers partnerships and products.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong longlasting relationships with key clients in the manufacturing industry.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with Techsol Engineers capabilities.
Sales & Negotiation:
- Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals including negotiations contract discussions and finalizing agreements.
- Prepare and present sales proposals product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
Collaboration & Team Leadership:
- Collaborate with the internal teams including sales marketing and product development to ensure client needs are met.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior sales staff setting goals and tracking performance.
Reporting & Forecasting:
- Track and report on business development activities sales performance and market feedback.
- Prepare regular reports for management including sales forecasts progress reports and market analysis.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Engineering or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 57 years of experience in business development sales or a related role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry including market dynamics customer needs and industry trends.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
