Associate Geotechnical Engineer - Parsons

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Engineer - Geotechnical to join our team! In this role you will get to plan and supervise site investigations and design geotechnical elements of various types of structures including bridges, tunnels, underpasses, retaining walls, public infrastructure-related structures .

What You'll Be Doing:
• Perform a variety of geotechnical engineering tasks to complete site investigations including site investigations supervision, rock core logging, rock characterization, supervision of lab testing and review of geotechnical factual data.
• Review of Geotechnical Factual Report and Preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative Reports.
• Perform analysis and calculations for bearing capacity, soil and rock slope stability, excavations support systems, retaining walls, tunnels and ground improvement works .
• Assist in developing design drawings, calculation reports and technical specifications.
• Support other engineering activities as required by the Senior/Principal engineer.
• Supervise CAD team as per project task assigned.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
