About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts a creative mindset and a desire to continuously learn and grow in their role. As a Commis Chef you will work closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and present highquality dishes that will delight our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes including appetizers entrees and desserts
Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to the restaurants standards
Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies
Assist in the development of new menu items and specials
Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role
Culinary arts degree or equivalent certification
Knowledge of various cooking methods ingredients and techniques
Ability to work in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
Excellent communication and team player skills
Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
