Job Description
An industry leading multidisciplinary team is looking for a Transportation Engineer for their Cleveland team!
Responsibilities:
- Design/develop various types of roadway/highway improvement projects
- Develop horizontal/vertical roadway/highway alignments design modeling and engineering calculations
- Perform all aspects of roadway/highway design (drainage design maintenance of traffic pavement marking/striping and signing)
- Prepare preliminary/detailed design plans quantities specifications and construction cost estimates
- Use technical expertise for the development evaluation selection and modification of standards engineering techniques/procedures
- Occasional client and subconsultant communication
- Site visits periodically
- Assist with Request for Information during construction phase
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7 years of experience
- PE License in Ohio or ability to obtain within six months
- Experience using AASHTO ODOT Design Criteria and FDOT Design Criteria
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D Microstation and Geopak
- Experience using Open Roads preferred
