About the Role

In this role youll be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns and working with a team who provide accounting and taxation advice to businesses of all sizes. Youll play a key part in helping to ensure compliance with relevant regulations while identifying opportunities for financial optimisation.

Key Duties

Preparation of financial statements for a diverse range of clients

Preparation of client tax returns (Corporation Tax and SelfAssessment)

Preparing and reviewing VAT returns

Accurately processing clients accounting data

Liaising with clients regularly to address their accounting needs and concerns

Managing junior staff

Key Requirements

Experience in a similar role

2 years minimum experience

Good technical knowledge with attention to detail

Experience of accounting software packages such as Xero Sage and FreeAgent (preferably IRIS)

Confident personable with excellent communication skills
