We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst for a shortterm freelance project with over 3 years of experience specializing in Power BI including extensive use of DAX creating metrics and developing fields. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and experience with cloud technologies particularly Google Cloud (BigQuery). Fluency in English and the ability to collaborate in a fastpaced environment are essential. This freelance role has the potential to transition into a fulltime position based on project success and company needs.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain robust reporting systems and dashboards in Power BI. Design and implement complex DAX queries and data models to derive actionable insights.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to integrate analytics and BI solutions into broader client projects.
- Cloud Data Management: Utilize Google Cloud technologies especially BigQuery for efficient data manipulation and analysis. Experience with other cloud platforms is also advantageous.
- Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends in BI and data analytics. Propose and implement improvements to existing data systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in data analysis with a strong focus on Power BI.
- Experience with Google Cloud (BigQuery) is highly preferred.
- Expertise in Power BI and DAX.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis within cloud environments preferably Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
