Job Description
Bartender Cruise Ship
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized bar area ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working condition
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests answering questions and making recommendations
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests and crew members
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
Collaborate with other crew members to create and implement new drink menus and promotions
Attend training and meetings as required by the company
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a highvolume establishment
Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages as well as their ingredients and preparation methods
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced and constantly changing environment
Proven ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines in a bar setting
Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid bartending license or certification
Willingness to work long hours and live on board a cruise ship for the duration of the contract
Fluent in English additional languages are a plus
