Job Description

We are hiring for our client UAE Jobs Hub.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Dubai. If you are detailoriented organized and have a passion for logistics we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Assist with the receipt inspection and storage of goods. Ensure that inventory levels are accurately maintained and recorded.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick pack and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company procedures. Verify that all items are correct and in good condition before dispatch.
  • Stock Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Ensure that items are properly labeled stored and easily accessible.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries. Ensure that incoming and outgoing shipments are documented and processed efficiently.
  • Data Entry: Record inventory transactions and updates in the warehouse management system (WMS). Generate reports as needed to track inventory levels and order status.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols. Report any hazards or safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Additional certification in logistics or warehousing is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required. Entrylevel candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS or inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to specify weight e.g. 25 kg) safely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal). Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift certification is an advantage but not required; training can be provided.
