Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development:
• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the software release process.
• Ensure pipelines are optimized for speed and reliability including integration of automated testing security checks and other quality gates.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform ARM templates or Azure Bicep.
• Ensure that infrastructure is scalable secure and costeffective.
• Cloud Resource Management:
• Deploy monitor and manage Azure resources including VMs databases and networking components.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance cost and security.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and ensure seamless integration with infrastructure and pipelines.
• Provide support for DevOps tools and processes assisting in troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
• Automation:
• Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance and scale the deployment processes.
• Ensure that all manual processes are automated where possible to improve efficiency.
• Monitoring and Optimization:
• Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health performance and security.
• Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks or issues in the deployment process.
• Security and Compliance:
• Integrate security best practices into DevOps processes including secure coding practices vulnerability management and compliance adherence.
• Ensure that deployments meet regulatory and organizational security standards.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• 35 years of handson experience with Azure DevOps including pipeline creation infrastructure management and cloud deployments.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform ARM templates or Azure Bicep.
• Strong experience in automating deployment processes and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Skills:
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python.
• Solid understanding of networking security and cloud architecture principles.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
