Tasks
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure high standards of quality hygiene and safety are maintained.
- Develop new recipes and menus in collaboration with the Head Chef based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels ensuring timely procurement of supplies while minimizing waste.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in menu planning and inventory management.
- Provide all certifications
