THE FOLLOWING ARE THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Manage and develop contacts in your region.
- Develop new leads for all product lines.
- Generate statistical reports.
- Follow up on sales leads and make calls on potential customers.
- Determine market strategies and goals for each product and service.
- Obtain and coordinate data and information from staff and member groups.
- Be selfsufficient and independent in scheduling.
- Research and develop lists of potential customers.
- Determine customer needs and provide information to other staff.
- Evaluate product and service marketability in terms of customers technical and manufacturing needs.
- Maintain an uptodate understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
- Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.
- Work directly with customers to establish a communication path with them.
- Develop sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products and services.
- Develop technical presentations and workshops.
- Maintain uptodate awareness of activities industry trends and government regulations.
- Make regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.
- Establish longterm ongoing and repeat relationships.
- Close deals and finalize contracts.
- Maintain an uptodate working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned
