Job Description
Job title: Java Backend Developer
- Develop and maintain robust Java applications using Core Java Java EE JSP/Servlet JDBC JMS IBM MQ and multithreading techniques.
- Work with WebLogic/OHS or equivalent J2EE servers to deploy and manage applications.
- Utilize the Spring Framework and Spring Boot for developing enterprisegrade applications.
- Designed developed and maintained relational databases using SQL including index management stored procedures and ORM technologies like JPA2 and Hibernate.
- Write and execute SQL and PL/SQL programs preferably in MS SQL Server or equivalent databases.
- Apply TestDriven Development (TDD) principles using tools like JUnit Cucumber Gherkin JIRA Maven and Sonar.
- Manage version control and collaborate using tools like GIT and Bitbucket.
- Participate in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using systems such as TeamCity Jenkins Tekton Harness and UDeploy.
- Utilize IntelliJ or Eclipse for development and debugging.
- Learn and adapt quickly to new tools technologies and methodologies.
- Develop and integrate Spring Bootbased components with eventdriven architectures using Kafka and MQ.
- Collaborate in an Agile development environment contributing to Scrum sprint deliverables and following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Substantial experience in Core Java (Java 8 and above) Java EE JSP/Servlet JDBC and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and ORM technologies.
- Experience with web servers like WebLogic/OHS or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Spring Framework Spring Boot and related tools.
- Expertise in version control automated testing and CI/CD systems.
- Experience with eventdriven architectures Kafka and MQ integration.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the SDLC.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
