Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 910 years of experience to join our team at Charter Communication in Charlotte NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and testing with proven expertise in creating and executing automated test scripts developing test frameworks and ensuring highquality software deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and resolve software defects.
- Create comprehensive test plans test cases and test reports.
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and performance.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to the development team.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of testing standards and best practices.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure they are met through effective testing.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- 910 years of experience in software development and testing.
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium Appium JUnit TestNG).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java C# or Python.
- Extensive experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Fluent in Spanish with strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- US Citizenship or Green Card holder.
