Key responsibilities
- Designing developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborating with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Building ETL processes to extract transform and load data from diverse sources.
- Optimizing data models for enhanced performance and scalability.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for BI solutions and data processes.
- Ensuring data security and integrity within the Power BI environment.
- Providing technical support and training to end users on Power BI functionality.
- Implementing best practices for data visualization and dashboard development.
- Participating in peer code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in Power BI and related technologies.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Expertise in data visualization principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in dashboard development and report design using Power BI.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling concepts.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and data lakes.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: BI Reporting or MCSE: Data Management and Analytics are a plus.
