Qualifications
a) Experience: Minimum of 4 years in an IT performance analysis and enduser support role.
b) Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java Spring and Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of application logs and Java exceptions
- Solid knowledge of SQL for database queries and troubleshooting
- Experience with application servers such as Tomcat
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of cloud platforms particularly AWS
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace Grafana Kibana and Splunk
c) Soft Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tickets simultaneously
- Advanced collaboration communication and interpersonal skills
d) Work Environment:
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment including night shifts
Responsibilities:
a) Technical Support:
- Provide 24x7 support for Javabased applications including night shifts
- Analyze and resolve production issues and tickets in a timely manner
- Investigate application logs and Java exceptions to identify and fix issues
- Utilize monitoring and logging tools (Dynatrace Grafana Kibana Splunk etc.) to track application performance and troubleshoot problems
- Perform performance analysis and optimize Java applications
- Assist with SQL queries and database troubleshooting
b) System Management:
- Manage and configure application servers such as Tomcat
- Work with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) to deploy and manage applications
- Utilize AWS services for application hosting and maintenance
c) Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and provide effective support
- Communicate effectively with end users to understand issues and provide solutions
- Document issues solutions and best practices to improve support processes
d) Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance support capabilities
e) Ticket Management:
- Manage multiple tickets efficiently ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs
- Provide clear and detailed updates on ticket status and resolution steps
