Overview:
The HR Head plays a critical role in overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within an organization. They are responsible for shaping and implementing HR strategies to support the overall business objectives driving employee engagement and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process to attract top talent
- Driving performance management processes and ensuring performance appraisals are conducted timely and effectively
- Managing employee relations including conflict resolution grievances and disciplinary procedures
- Designing and implementing employee development programs and initiatives
- Overseeing compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and fairness
- Leading HR compliance efforts and managing employmentrelated risk
- Championing diversity equity and inclusion initiatives within the organization
- Managing HR operations including payroll HRIS and recordkeeping
- Providing leadership and guidance to the HR team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; Masters degree preferred
- Proven experience as an HR leader or HR manager in a complex and dynamic organization
- Demonstrated expertise in HR strategy development and implementation
- Thorough knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in working with HRIS systems and tools
- Ability to drive change and create a positive organizational culture
- Proven track record of driving employee engagement and retention initiatives
- HR certification such as SPHR or SHRMSCP is a plus
