React Developer

Overview

Key responsibilities

• Developing new userfacing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into highquality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of webcapable devices and browsers
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other developers
• Collaborating with backend developers and web designers to improve usability
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
• Assisting in the troubleshooting testing and maintenance of the core product software and databases
• Writing clean maintainable and efficient code
• Assuming ownership of code and taking accountability for projects

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a React Developer or similar frontend role
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g. Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common frontend development tools such as Babel Webpack NPM etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A keen eye for UI/UX design and the development of responsive and mobilefirst web pages
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
