Overview
The Senior Java Developer in the Manufacturing domain plays a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining highquality software solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and operations. They are responsible for creating scalable efficient and secure Java applications that align with the specific requirements of the manufacturing industry. The Senior Java Developer collaborates with crossfunctional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive productivity quality and efficiency within manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing Javabased applications tailored to manufacturing requirements
- Integrating thirdparty systems and services to enhance manufacturing software solutions
- Developing and maintaining microservices architecture in Java
- Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and understand manufacturing processes
- Optimizing software systems for performance scalability and reliability in manufacturing
- Participating in agile software development processes including sprint planning and code reviews
- Ensuring code quality through unit testing and continuous integration
- Resolving technical issues and providing support for manufacturing software applications
- Implementing security measures to protect manufacturing software from potential threats
- Documenting software designs processes and procedures related to manufacturing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development within the manufacturing domain
- Proficiency in Spring Framework for developing robust and scalable applications
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development in Java
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows
- Ability to optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and handson experience in agile software development
- Familiarity with DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing software
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
