Overview

Key responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures such as Xrays CT scans MRIs ultrasounds and mammograms
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine the best imaging approaches for patient diagnosis
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of medical images providing detailed reports and recommendations to referring physicians
• Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and procedures implementing best practices for patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases providing expert insights and recommendations based on imaging findings
• Supervise and train radiology technicians and other staff to maintain high standards of imaging procedures and patient safety
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards while performing imaging procedures and handling radiological equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding during imaging procedures
• Contribute to research and development activities in the field of radiology participating in clinical trials and studies
• Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists to provide comprehensive and accurate diagnostic evaluations
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of radiology services
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Provide consultation and second opinions on complex radiological cases to ensure accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment plans
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology

Required qualifications

• MD DNB or equivalent degree in Radiology from a recognized institution
• DMRD qualification and certification in Radiodiagnosis
• Valid medical license to practice as a Radiologist in Rajasthan
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging interpretation
• Proven expertise in performing and interpreting various imaging modalities including Xrays CT scans MRIs ultrasounds and mammograms
• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced imaging techniques and interventional radiology procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and interact with patients
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting medical images and preparing comprehensive reports
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple imaging studies simultaneously
• Sound knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices in radiological procedures
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of radiology and medical imaging
• Strong ethical conduct empathy and sensitivity in patient interactions and care
• Ability to make critical decisions and recommendations based on imaging findings for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment planning
