Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design and Planning:
- Develop designs specifications and cost estimates for various civil/structural projects required to meet the manufacturing needs of facilities located throughout the US Canada and Mexico.
- Perform structural design for facility and heavy industrial equipment foundations using materials such as steel concrete and wood.
- Project Management:
- Manage project budgets schedules and perform jobsite inspections to ensure compliance with design and project requirements.
- Direct and provide engineering guidance to staff engineers technicians and others as required to accomplish project goals.
- Construction Management:
- Provide onsite construction management to ensure project requirements are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with current industrial facility construction practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited institution.
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in industrial structural engineering and project management.
- 5 years of work experience in the US.
- Must have construction management experience.
- Design experience is required.
- Licensure:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (licensure from any US state is acceptable).
- Skills:
- Indepth working knowledge of heavy industrial facility construction practices.
- Comprehensive technical understanding of structural analysis/design applications in steel concrete and wood.
- Ability to manage project budgets schedules and onsite construction activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in Hartsville SC or relocate to Hartsville with a full relocation package.
