Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess supplier performance working collaboratively to address any deviations or issues.
- Evaluate potential new suppliers in partnership with Purchasing ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality standards that align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead crossfunctional teams in resolving quality issues using methodologies such as root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure suppliers meet product specifications.
- Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests to address and prevent recurring quality issues.
- Lead the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with key customers to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier network.
- Develop and deliver training programs for suppliers on quality standards and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree.
- Previous experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis.
- Project management experience.
- Familiarity with electromechanical designs.
