Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Work collaboratively with school staff to develop and implement effective specialized instruction that meets each individuals goals contained within the Individual Education Plan and other targeted interventions.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Employ effective instructional techniques for learners with disabilities.
Experience you will need:
- Hold appropriate Current Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator Licensure with Special Education Endorsement (PKAge 21).
- Excellent communication skills with students teachers and parents.
- Knowledge of current teaching techniques for students with disabilities.
- Ability to write and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Ability to work cooperatively with support personnel on a daily basis.
