Ability to provide system operation support for Oracle PPM & Fixed Assets in Complex Asset Intensive Oil & Gas environment with demonstrated functional depth across Capital OPEX Growth and Mixed projects.
Ability to support continuous improvements in the area of Project Accounting & Capital Assets through identifying areas and ideas for improvement and carrying out continuous system improvement initiatives.
Ability to Work effectively with business partners and System integrator & ensure quality assurance on key deliverables
Ability to work closely with cross functional team & other technology disciplines across integration data security application and reporting.
Manage daily operational incidents and break fix issues
Review requirements and design specifications to ensure fit for purpose
Engage Business SMEs to gather and derive business and systems requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications.
Review crossfunctional business processes identify fit gaps and propose remediation and assess interdependencies with integrations and cross module impacts
Analyze and problem solves system issues in respective application portfolio to determine the best course of action.
Maintain business process documentation and identify areas for process improvement opportunities.
Facilitate business change in support of solution design and implementation. Document systems and their interdependencies in the form of system specifications.
Participate in quality assurance testing ensuring defined user requirements are met; translate business requirements and use cases into test plans and test scenarios.
Assist the business in System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
Provide technical assistance to the business in the use of information and data from various source systems.
Requirements
Strong experience Implementing or Supporting Oracle modules such Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Fixed Assets General Ledger Financial Accounting Hub Subledger Accounting and it s integration to other Oracle ERP Modules
Understanding of Project accounting and capital asset business process such Project Structures Asset Creation & Maintenance Unitization Retirement AFUDC Depreciation ARO Mass Property Lease Accounting etc.
Knowledge of relevant domain processes in Operations (Asset Information Risk and Review and Lifecycle Development operational excellence and managing an AMS Application maintenance service partner
Understanding of accounting treatment of capital related items under Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP and regulatory filings such as FERC and NEB
Ability to interpret process flow charts to understand what data is captured and how it travels between various applications and hardware components
Advanced communication skills demonstrated through previous experience in the following contexts: multidisciplinary project meetings technical reviews with developers and SME s leading group training sessions
Highly developed organizational skills to prioritize tasks and complete work within defined timeframes in a fast paced program environment
