Role:
The Client requires the services of an experienced Change Management Specialist/Communications to work directly with the Senior Change and Communications Specialist and as part of the IT Transformation Programme Team. The successful candidate will provide communications support and also support the delivery of the overall Programme by developing engaging consistent informative messages through a variety of methods and tools.
Experience Level Required:
It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of 46 years experience in change and communications management learning and development or related field. Full Driving License required Occasional travel may be required (own car required) and standard Civil Service T &S rates will apply.
It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed holds a certification in change management.
Key Deliverable:
The following nonexhaustive list of Key Deliverables are applicable to this Role.
Provide Communications Support for the Clients IT function
Contribute to the overall delivery of the IT Internal communications strategy
Create and maintain SharePoint sites and ensure consistent branding across IT communication channels.
Develop and deliver highly effective communications plans for various communications programmes and events
Gather communications feedback and create visualisation of the data for reporting
Simplify technical messaging using illustration and visual communications
Maintain and manage a repository of key communication articles and documentation
Ensure comprehensive and effective monitoring and coordination of communications activities across the organisation
Manage Stakeholders communications and engagements including status updates communication network meetings and workshops
Track communications and build reports for communication effectiveness metrics
Develop and support Micro brand development for programme teams including developing embedding implementing and advising on branding standards/guidelines/templates across the directorate.
Lead design services developing visual content (such as imagery digital signage icons email newsletters videos and photography) for communication campaigns aligned with key messages.
Provide communications training and branded materials for internal stakeholders.
Set standards for communications material and development of highquality imagery for digital channels.
Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:
The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.
Proven design skills using recognised industry standard design programmes such as the Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva. Experience in Microsoft Office also beneficial.
Proven handson brand development expertise.
Expertise in using content management systems is an advantage.
Photography skills and video editing software skills an advantage.
Strong interpersonal influencing and team working skills
Proven expertise working with people across an organisation at all levels including senior management.
Proven experience in simplifying technical messaging in a compelling and engaging way.
Selfstarter with proven ability to bring innovative design to their approach within an organisation.
Track record of working collaboratively with IT to simplify technical messaging when communicating to non IT audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a range of different communication skills
Strong analytical skills ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions
Full Time
