Our client is a prominent corporate services conglomerate operating within the financial services sector. They specialise in diversified financial services corporate services and alternative assets with a workforce of around 1500 employees across multiple continents. As part of their strategic growth they are seeking a Senior Innovation Manager to support the Director of Innovation and contribute to the development of their products and services.

As a Senior Innovation Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Innovation to drive the delivery of new profitable products and services. You will manage thirdparty software partners address customer queries and oversee the onboarding of new customers. This position requires a blend of technical understanding commercial awareness and operational skills.

Requirements

• Degree/MSc educated OR have sufficient relevant commercial experience.
  
• Experience working in an incubator/startup/innovation environment within a medium to large global organisation preferably in financial services.
  
• Handson experience in designing and developing datacentric digital products and monetising them with clients.
  
• Proficiency in testing new propositions using agile design thinking and lean techniques for user involvement throughout the development processes.
  
• Highly developed collaboration and engagement techniques with the ability to motivate and communicate to "sell the dream" of new ideas.
  
• Strong project management and change management skills combined with a "cando" attitude and the drive to follow through on ideas.
  
• Experience in innovation scouting and ideally in an innovation team/hub/lab/function.
  
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and develop relationships with potential technology partners colleagues collaborators and clients.
  
• Comfortable producing financial modelling for business cases and funding requests.
  
• Legal or contractual experience with a clear understanding of licenses and/or collaboration agreements.
  
• Experience in growth and innovation with strong examples of growing businesses by building and delivering innovative propositions.
  
• Experience in IP generation and protection structural partnership formations and commercial collaborations is highly desirable.
