Job Description
As a Senior Product Designer you will play a pivotal role in designing and taking ownership of all of HeyoPhone and MyOperator application platforms. You will bring along the skills and knowledge necessary to build a seamless user experience for these domains as well as drive the total brand experience forward. You will have a strong understanding of UI and UX design principles and graphic/ visual design as well as the ability to solve complex design problems and realise a product along with the team.
While working in the design team here you will be working with some of the most talented passionate creative and processdriven individuals around so you can expect to learn as much from them as we will from you!
Key responsibility area
Create design solutions and UX design vision to maximize user experiences across all products and channels working closely with product managers and designers.
Works collaboratively with crossfunctional peers prioritising and allocating tasks to deliver against business problems.
Exhibit a preference for a clean simplistic functional design that meets the user objectives and serves key business metrics like conversion and retention.
Oversee the design of app and website as well as the development of web interfaces.
Asses and effectively use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions and measure the success of the apps and websites.
Understand areas that need improvement and provide necessary directions for improvement. Directs the team in effectively achieving set goals within the set timespan.
Enhance the skills of the team to boost productivity performance and output as well as keep up the whole team spirit.
Making sure all the designs produced are on brand without fail in any detail.
Requirements
5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role in a productbased organisation.
Should hold a bachelors degree (preferably in design fine art or engineering).
A strong understanding of UX design processes Usability best practices Usability Principles UI patterns Research methodologies User Interviewing techniques.
Strong hold of design tools such as: Adobe XD or Figma Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Adobe After Effects
Sound knowledge of Design Systems importance & implementation protocols and UX design tools and resources.
Knowledge of human interactions behaviour etc.
Should hold a bachelors degree (preferably in design fine art or engineering).
An excellent portfolio that demonstrates design thinking and problemsolving capabilities with an emphasis on design and user experience.
Excellent team management and collaboration skills.
Exposure to development tools and frameworks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
Along with these it will be great to have
Demonstrated experience in managing or mentoring a team of designers.
Good understanding of Business and Human psychology.
Knowledge in brand design.
Exposure to a wide variety of problem spaces and technologies.
Excellent skills in prototyping sketching etc.
A zeal for understanding new technologies trends and tools.
