Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse 2 to join our healthcare team in Morristown Tennessee. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc.) and a minimum of two years of nursing experience in a clinical setting. In this role you will provide highquality patient care perform clinical assessments and manage medication administration while demonstrating effective communication and teamwork skills. As a lead registered nurse you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal patient outcomes and fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and devise individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety.
- Lead and collaborate with nursing staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
- Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) for accurate patient documentation.
- Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe care environment.
- Stay current with best practices in nursing and participate in ongoing training.
- Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications and adhere to hospital policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc.) from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current RN license to practice in the state of Tennessee.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and manage time effectively.
