Job Title Network Engineer

Location Bangalore

Experience 3 10 years

Notice Immediate to 15 Days

Requirements:

• troubleshoot diagnose and solve customer issues.
• should be ready to work in flexible shifts
• implement change requests for managed service customers providing 2nd & 3rd level troubleshooting support.
• point of technical escalation.
• effective and prompt communications with clients and internal staff/management.
• provide input to constantly improve our products and services to add value for our customers and shareholders.
• document precise and detailed diagnostic information for every assigned customer support ticket.
• handle any additional maintenance and/or service related activities as they arise.
• obtain and/or maintain up to date certifications for all products supported.
• analysis recommendation and implementation of new technologies.

Technical skills

• firewall troubleshooting (FortiGate ASA Palo Alto SSL & IPSec VPN).
• loadbalancers/WAF (Kemp & FortiADC).
• SSL VPN deployments.
• security policies creation and modifications (audit reviews).
• deep understanding of TCP/UDP/ICMP & Stateful/Stateless protocols.
• demonstrates an understanding of packet flow in the OSI model.
• experience with ticketing software (ServiceNow).
• IPT/VoIP experience.

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) minimum.
• IPT or VoIP qualifications (ideal).
• technical background in computer networking and security architecture.
• motivated and ability to manage workload based on urgency.
• strong communication skills (explaining solutions to clients providing recommendations and safe implementations).
• ability to work to project deadlines take ownership and work closely with the team lead.

Other requirements: Must be willing to work on shifts 2 days Week OFF may be rotational.
