Our client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their talented software team working on missioncritical applications using Agile methodologies. The project aims to modernize the clients system by rearchitecting its components to industryleading architecture and frameworks providing better service to both agency staff and endusers while positioning the agency for future technological improvements.

Required/Desired Skills

Skill Required/Desired Amount of Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience. Required 0 Extensive experience in developing various AWS services like EKS ECR S3 Lambda and service mesh technology like Istio with adequate test coverage. Required 8 Years Handson development experience with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CDK. Required 8 Years Strong understanding of AWS WellArchitected Frameworks. Required 5 Years Proficiency in scripting languages such as Typescript or Python. Required 8 Years Experience building pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitHub GitHub Actions etc. Required 8 Years Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP DNS HTTP SSL/TLS etc.). Required 8 Years Solid understanding of security best practices in AWS environments. Required 8 Years Experience with configuration management and orchestration tooling to ensure cloud environments meet operational and security standards Required 8 Years Strong networking experience including knowledge of AWS networking services (e.g. VPC Subnets Route 53). Required 8 Years Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong problemsolving skills. Required 8 Years Experience working in Agile methodology. Required 8 Years
