Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our client project working on a highimpact banking project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure management system reliability scalability and performance. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and improve cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability scalability and performance.
  • Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) to design implement and maintain robust cloud solutions.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools particularly Terraform and Terragrunt for automated infrastructure deployments.
  • Administer and scale applications using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes specifically with Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like NewRelic ELK Zabbix or other equivalents.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operations.

MustHave Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in SRE DevOps engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure ensuring system reliability scalability and performance.
  • Extensive handson experience with AWS including building and managing cloud solutions.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS administration is a plus).
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools particularly Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and/or Python.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. NewRelic ELK Zabbix).

NicetoHave Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Chef for configuration management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently manage systems handle requests deploy applications and maintain pipelines.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and implementing system improvements and observability enhancements.

Soft Skills:

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and openness to share knowledge and opinions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote distributed team environment.

Job Conditions: B2B contract; fulltime;100% remote; location EU.

Role:

Proven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or equivalent skilled in cloud infrastructure management system reliability scalability and performance.

MustHave Requirements:


Minimum 5 years in SRE/DevOps engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role demonstrating proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system reliability scalability and performance.

AWS Skills: Indepth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) with practical experience in building and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
IaC Expertise: Proficient with Terraformand Terragrunt and CI/CD pipelines particularly Jenkins for infrastructure deployment and automation.
Containerization: Knowledgeable in Docker and Kubernetes especially in administering Elastic Kubernetes Service ( EKS) applications.
CI/CD Tools: Proficient with Jenkins and experience with GitLab.
Scripting Languages: Proficient in Bash and/ or Python.
Monitoring and Logging: Experience with tools like NewRelic ELK Zabbix or other equivalents.

NicetoHave Requirements:

Located within the EU either an EU citizen or holding permanent right to work/reside.
Ability to start within a few weeks.
Preparedness for oncall rotation with availability during nights if needed.
Proficiency in English.
