The VP Global Marketing & Communications will be responsible for enhancing brand awareness and ensuring the successful launch of products and collections to support business growth. This role requires a strategic visionary who can identify target audiences create and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies and oversee the Marketing teams activities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  • Analyze key marketing performance metrics conduct market research and forecast trends.

  • Perform competitor analyses and evaluate campaign results to formulate actionable insights.

  • Develop and adapt marketing strategies tailored to various markets and distribution channels (retail ecommerce distributors).

Marketing Management:

  • Implement 360 marketing plans for product launches and events.

  • Enhance trade marketing efforts and ensure the successful launch of products and collections.

  • Provide sales teams with necessary tools and materials.

  • Identify new business opportunities and create actionable plans for continuous marketing improvement.

  • Oversee annual marketing budgets and optimize expenditure.

Brand Management:

  • Create and nurture a compelling narrative for the brand and its products.

  • Advise on corporate brand development and related products impacting brand image and sales (e.g. certificates bags POS materials).

Communications:

  • Manage and scaleup communications across all channels (media press PR distributors).

  • Present new products to markets expand the brand network and develop sales and communication tools.

Training and Development:

  • Create training materials for internal teams and external partners/franchises including guidelines product charts and sales speeches.

Team Management:

  • Collaborate with and supervise designers product teams and workshops on marketing and communications matters.

  • Coordinate and oversee the progress of all stakeholders involved in marketing projects.

Profile Requirements

  • Education: Masters degree (Bac4/5) in Marketing Communications or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in management and marketing within the jewelry or luxury goods industry.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and French.

  • Skills:

    • Strong network and experience in implementing targeted marketing actions.

    • Passionate about the luxury industry especially jewelry.

    • Proven ability to deliver results and adapt to technical and operational constraints.

    • Excellent networking and persuasive skills.

    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

    • Energetic bold and capable of projecting a vision.

    • Can do and handson spirit adaptable to an agile work environment.
