What you will be doing:
- Administer Active Directory/ADFS/Windows Server environments running on Amazon EC2 and assist with planning efforts to migrate environments to Azure AD/Azure Federation Services.
- Install and maintain/upgrade key infrastructure application software running on Windows/Linux and document the infrastructure architecture supporting 3rd party software running on AWS EC2.
- Monitor performance & availability of key infrastructure and provide oncall support on a rotational basis working with other IT Teams on troubleshooting efforts as required.
- Participate in IT architectural sessions to provide expertise to the framework and design of COTS and Cloud solutions and lead medium/large size infrastructure projects.
- Code and develop standards for creating cloud infrastructure components/services approved for use by SLM from AWS. Design and implement automation solutions that increase team operational efficiencies.
- Work with Amazon technical partners solutions and services and participate in budgeting sessions as required.
Experience you will need:
- Strong administration skills in Active Directory/ADFS and Windows Server environments.
- Demonstrated successful client interaction skills.
- Competency with the operational aspects of complex hosting/networking/VPC/Security Groups.
- Experience with multiple AWS Services/InfrastructureasCode/Ansible.
- Knowledge of Oracle/SQL/PostgreSQL RDS databases.
- Strong experience with Windows/Linux OS & EC2 management especially with Active Directory/Windows Server.
- Familiarity with Networking/Coding/Scripting (PowerShell Unix Shell scripting Python YAML JSON etc.).
- Experience with IIS/.NET/Java.
- Knowledge of middle tier technologies such as JBOSS EAP Apache Tomcat etc.
- Work experience in a DevOps/Agile culture.
- Familiarity with Amazon cloud services technology.
