Job Description

As a OpenShift DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Continuously follow the latest technological developments in Cloud and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
  • Design install develop configure and maintain the OpenShift Container platform and development services according to business needs.
  • Operate the OpenShift Platform efficiently handling incidents problems requests changes and capacity management.
  • Work as part of an Agile team in a DevOps or SRE role focusing on automation reliability maintainability security and customer satisfaction.
  • Use CI/CD frameworks to support the lifecycle management of the platform.
  • Act as L2L3 support for incidents problems and service requests.
  • Implement and drive automation and selfhealing solutions.
  • Produce and maintain internal designs and user documentation.
  • Support ITSM processes and collaborate with various teams including third parties.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Azure Associate certification or equivalent knowledge level.
  • OpenShift or Kubernetes certification.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience for senior roles or at least 3 years for medior roles.
  • Experience with HELM or Kustomize.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Ansible GoLang or Terraform.
  • Securityminded approach in all activities.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tool sets (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions).
  • Adaptability to work in a fastpaced everchanging environment.
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to constant changes.
  • Understanding of Agile development SCRUM or SRE concepts is a plus.
  • Willingness to run standby duty.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Analyze customer process needs and provide solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for pending RICEFs.
  • Interact with clients and functional teams to understand requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and knowledge sharing.
  • Train others and prepare and deliver presentations for knowledge sharing.
