Job Description
Office hours:
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.30pm
Friday 7am to 2.30pm
Every Second Saturday 7.30am to 12noon
Key Performance Areas for this role include:
- Sales generation through facetoface email and internet channels
- Providing customers with quotations
- Advising customers on stock quantity and quality for projects
- Coordinating transportation as needed
- Administrative tasks
- Stock management on the system
- Stock loading arrangements
- Invoice creation
- Handling payments from cash and account customers
- Following up on outstanding payments
- Other miscellaneous duties
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Product knowledge is advantageous
- Proficient administrative skills with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices
- Exceptional computer literacy (Intermediate Excel skills essential)
- Previous sales background
In line with the company s employment equity plans priority may be given to candidates from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act. Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a must for this role with a minimum educational requirement of Grade 12. Selections are based on merit and candidates not meeting the criteria will not be considered.
