Long Description Job Summary
The role requires the agent to carry out the daytoday issuances of policies (All lines) in accordance with instruction from Underwriter / Manager as per express or implied policies processes and procedures of the company; using information and knowledge of market practices more in a decisive level to independently judge and correctly act to the call of day to day process situations
Job Responsibilities

• Issue quotations as per clear instructions from Underwriters
• Liaise with customers and interdepartments to satisfy the procedural checks in relation to policy issuance
• Take in advance monthly renewal reports and seek Underwriting opinions on the same and thereafter own the timely issuance of renewals
• Able to give suggestions on a mediocre basis to Underwriters in order to learn the trade
• Handle walk in and email customer queries on in house products
• Review account performance claims information and payment history client wise
• Import and sort various reports as and when called for by the management
• Manages book of new & renewal business as generated by the underwriters
• Able to reply to reinsurer queries in support with Underwriters
• Evaluates client documents order the risk to be ready for Underwriter assessment
• Handle customer inquiries
• Coordinating with claims IT and Finance department
• Have a general idea about underwriting changes in the market
• Learn new products within or outside the same line
• Create and manage a proper documentation both soft and hardcopies without errors and omissions of important communication
• Error free document issuance
• Formalize and summate figures for Underwriting analysis of the Treaty figures in last quarter
• Able to lead and own any product channel guide with its marketing ideas
• Examines and evaluates documents such as applications inspection reports financial reports claims history and any other pertinent information to determine degree of risk underwriting and appropriate market.
• Accepts prices and binds insurance within underwriting authority refer business to senior underwriting staff company underwriter or brokers beyond authority.
• Has direct knowledge of the job skills in the underwriting positions including clear understanding of insurance processing systems cancellations policy change and calculations
• Taking ownership to improve intra Alghanim relations with more open talks
• Responsible for the overall process CSAT score

Candidate Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be in an underwriting role with minimum 2 years of underwriting experience.

Education:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree or equivalent in any discipline
• A Certification holder of CERT CII shall be an added advantage
