Overview:

We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and accounting with a proven track record in overseeing financial operations ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing strategic financial insights. Experience working with U.S. clients and proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting:

• Oversee all accounting operations including A/R A/P GL and revenue recognition.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage monthend and yearend close processes.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage budgets forecasts and financial projections.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate and manage external audits and tax preparations.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor the accounting team fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.
• Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to nonfinancial stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Controller ideally with a focus on working with U.S. clients.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
• Indepth knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
