We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect for an EU agency in Amsterdam. This position is 100% on site.
Your role:
- Defines economical fit for purpose solutions considering business information application and infrastructure architecture aspects in the context of the functional and nonfunctional requirements constraints and resources.
- Design solutions and influence the business requirements functional and nonfunctional so that solutions economically meet these requirements and implement the agencys IT strategy.
- Streamline business processes functions procedures and workflows and apply a consistent implementation approach.
- Verifies feasibility in the development of new business processes and systems.
- Ensures that technical solutions procedures and models for solution design and development are uptodate and comply with standards
Your profile:
- You have a masters degree in an IT related field.
- You have 4 years experience as Solution Architect.
- You have BCS TOGAF SWEBOK or other equivalent and valid architecture certificates.
- Good analytical and critical reasoning applied to problem decomposition and solution;
- Experience using agile software development methodologies (i.e. Scrum Kanban and other lean techniques);
- Use of cloud services and architecture serverless functions for instance Microsoft
Azure and SharePoint;
- Contribute to the design of robust multithreaded and distributed system components deployed both on premise and in Microsoft Azure/AWS;
- Document decisions and design solutions using standard notations such as UML 2 and Archimate 3 with Sparx EA or similar;
- Analyse and influence functional and nonfunctional requirements;
- Proven experience of REST API development or use;
- Experience in Agile techniques and principles;Knowledge in IT Service Management and/or Risk frameworks and/or international standards.
- Experience in defining tasks/stories with clear estimates and prioritisation;
- Experience in at least of one Medicines Pharma Regulatory domains
- Fluent in English (C1).
