Security Agent

To be considered for this position you must currently have a valid Level III TX Security Guard License have the Personal Protection Officer endorsement (Level IV) up to date on firearm qualification and have been licensed for at lease 1 or more years.

Position Summary:

First Responder Protective Services is looking to add additional Security Agents to our growing team. To be eligible you must currently have a valid Level III TX Security Guard License have the Personal Protection Officer endorsement (Level IV) up to date on firearm qualification and have been licensed for at lease 1 or more years.

Current openings for security agents allow for a flexible schedule with the opportunity to become fulltime in the future. This position consists of high level security work with a mixture of uniformed and plain clothes assignments. Uniformed assignments are not traditional full dress out. For the security agent position if response is needed in a uniformed capacity the uniform is BDU pants and a 5.11 polo with a firearm and OC spray. Uniform shirt uniform pants and OC spray are all issued items. Security agents must furnish their own firearm and ensure it is on the approved manufacturer list with the FRPS firearms coordinator. For any uniformed assignments security agents must also have at minimum a level 2 retention holster. Plain clothes assignments range from casual business casual to business professional depending on the specifics of the operation being planned.

FRPS is looking to add security professionals ranging from relatively new to this career field (at least one year of experience reqd) to seasoned professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess high levels of integrity professionalism willingness to train strong work ethic and contribute well to a team approach.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MUST Currently possessLevel III Texas Commissioned Security Guard License
• MUST Currently havethe Personal Protection Officer endorsement.
• MUST Currently havea firearms qualification
• MUST Currently possessa valid TX Drivers License or be able to obtain one prior to hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience since obtaining PPO designation
• Favorable driving history with a valid drivers license
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Ability to sit stand or drive for long hours.
