Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

As an Azure Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for designing deploying and managing scalable secure and resilient cloud environments using Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure cloud solutions align with business objectives and meet security performance and availability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using Microsoft Azure services ensuring scalability reliability and security.
• Deploy manage and maintain Azure resources including virtual machines storage accounts databases and networking components.
• Automate cloud operations using tools such as Azure DevOps ARM templates PowerShell and Terraform.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure identifying and resolving any issues related to latency resource allocation and security.
• Implement and manage Azurebased disaster recovery backup and failover strategies.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines ensuring efficient code deployment and infrastructure management.
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices including identity and access management encryption and network security groups.
• Perform cost analysis and optimization for cloud services ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining budgetary control.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud environments including architecture diagrams deployment procedures and security configurations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloudrelated issues including participation in oncall rotations.
• Stay current with the latest Azure features services and best practices and apply this knowledge to improve cloud operations and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Azure services including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines Azure SQL Database Azure Active Directory Azure Networking and Azure Storage.
• Strong experience with infrastructureascode (IaC) tools such as ARM templates Terraform and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles including identity management encryption and network security.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Application Insights.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloudrelated issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
